It's already September! Crazy. I wanted to let you all know where you can find me in person this month:

To start, can you believe I will be opening for Third Eye Blind this Friday at Copper Mountain?! JK, but we will both be there for FREE so come and check us both out:)

I will also be vending at the last Dillon Farmer’s Market of the season as well as participating in my fist event at Glenwood Springs, come say hi if you are in the area!

Enjoy the beginning of leaf peeping season in the mountains and get all those last moments of sunshine on your face that you can! Remember you can also purchase from me year round via my website (free pickup in Summit County), on Etsy, or in any of these retail locations:

My Side of the Trail

I started the month vending at First Friday in Silverthorne, which is always such a lively way to share my work and catch up with the community. That same weekend, Stephen, Otis, and I spent the weekend rafting—once we’re on the water, it’s hard not to crave more.

The following weekend we drove up to Bozeman for a friend’s wedding, which turned into a beautiful reunion with some of my closest friends. The celebration was full of joy, and I came home feeling so refreshed. Back in Summit, I spent a few Fridays at the Dillon Farmers Market, soaking in the bustle of summer.

Later in the month, we took an impromptu trip down to Durango and Grand Junction for Stephen’s work. Between rainstorms, we managed to squeeze in a hike, and those few hours on the trail were amazing. Then, over Labor Day, we were back on the river—this time for a three-day rafting trip with my aunt Eileen. Otis is quickly becoming a seasoned river dog, which makes those adventures even sweeter.

In between travels, Stephen’s friends came to stay with us for a bit, along with their two little ones. Our house was suddenly full of energy, laughter, and much welcomed chaos. Closer to home, Thursday nights have been dedicated to my sand volleyball team, the Servezas. We’re far from champions, but it’s been a fun way to mark the end of each week.

And through it all, the garden has been quietly thriving—plenty of lettuce, peas, and carrots—and the chickens are doing just as well. This season has been such a good balance of adventures, reunions, and grounding moments at home.

New Products in My Shop

The biggest update to my shop this month has been the large, framed posters of my most popular designs these days; Colorful Colorado and The National Parks of the USA maps! It’s been so fun showing these off at markets this month and even enjoying them in my own home as well!

What’s on the Workbench

iI’s been an exciting mix of projects lately. I was honored to have my poster selected as the winner of the Blue River Watershed Group’s design contest, which opened the door to another fun collaboration—creating coloring sheets for the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and the Amigo Airsho.

Closer to home, I designed a new logo for the Summit County Write the Rockies writing contest, a project organized by the library and other local partners. I also wrapped up a custom map that highlighted a friend's four years of travel (we are still working on the title)—pulling together so many special places into a single design was both challenging and rewarding.

And with the holidays slowly coming into view, I’ve been sketching out a new DIY ornament kit: a little A-frame cabin, complete with details to stitch and decorate. I’m excited to debut it at Christmas markets later this year.
